Breaking news – klix3D to lead Industry 4.0 revolution in Indonesia

Jakarta, April 4th 2018.

With Indonesia government recent push for Industry 4.0 revolution, klix3D will work tightly with all related department and companies to accelerate the adoption of Digital manufacturing (3D printing) as part of Industry 4.0 technology.

Klix3D has committed to open Indonesia’s largest Digital Manufacturing center by end of 2018. This center will house several high end 3D printers for Industrial use. Emphasis will be placed on production grade 3D printers, lowering cost for digital entrepreneur as well as companies.
This will be a multi-million dollars investment by klix3D and partners.

Back in May, 2015, MakerBot announced that it would reduce its emphasis on consumers, and instead focus on the educational and professional markets.

To pull together such a meal and all that it included, the researchers had to employ more than one 3D printer and, of course, a variety of materials. Using a basic desktop printer, the wineglasses were easily produced and then coated with silicone to assure that they would be food safe and watertight. Items like the placemats however, required a $250,000 Objet Connex 500 Polyjet printer, with two materials, allowing for both rubbery and more rigid textures. The utensils were fabricated through metal 3D printing with stainless steel, which the team then had to finish by coating manually, and even sharpening themselves.
